You may be thinking: what exactly is Fonio? Fonio is an ancient, gluten-free African grain. It is light and fluffy and boasts a nutty, earthy flavor. It is great at soaking up all kinds of flavors and spices and can be used as a base for pretty much any recipe.

Not only is Fonio a great source of fiber, B-vitamins, iron, zinc, and magnesium, but it is also high in amino acids methionine and cysteine which are not found in other grains.

This Fonio Pilaf rice is available in different varieties inspired by the flavors and dishes of West Africa. Get a taste of the region and choose from five delicious pilafs: Jollof, Yassa!, Afro-Funk, Dakar Curry, and Greens!

Each pack serves 4.
