Starting 50 years ago in Worcester, Near East is inspired by authentic cuisines from around the world. Bringing over delicious recipes from Armenia, Hannah Kalajian started the business with her traditional Armenian-style rice pilaf. It wasn’t long before the business grew and now Near East now produces a wide range of authentic rice pilafs, couscous, and other grain dishes. All are made with only high-quality ingredients.
