To Prepare

Field Roast

Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F, then remove plastic packaging, coat the roast in oil, and place in an oiled baking pan. Add approx 2 tablespoons of water to the baking pan and then cover it tightly with a lid or foil. Bake for 45 minutes, remove the lid or foil and bake until roast is heated to 165°F or for about 15 minutes. Cut into slices and serve.


Stovetop: Add contents of gravy packet and 2 cups of water to a medium-sized saucepan. Cook while stirring on medium-high heat until gravy thickens (about 4 minutes).

What is the shelf life of Field Roast products?

Field Roast plant-based meat products can last up to a year if kept frozen. Once you have decided to thaw them, they are good for about 65 days. Each product does have a “best by” number written on the packaging as well. If you find Field Roast products in the refrigerated section, they can be refrozen to extend the shelf life until you are ready to use them.
