Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Watkins Organic Cilantro Leaves as a substitute for fresh cilantro?

Yes! Watkins Organic Cilantro Leaves make a great substitute for fresh cilantro when you’re in a pinch. Made from the finest organic cilantro, these dried cilantro leaves have all the delicious bright and citrusy flavor of the fresh stuff.

Just note that 1 tbsp fresh cilantro is equivalent to around 1 tsp dried cilantro, which is a lot more intense and concentrated. Plus, it is important to add dried cilantro earlier on in the cooking time, to allow the flavors to really infuse.
