Pacific Foods - Tomato Basil Soup, 32oz

Pacific Foods began in 1987. It is situated in Tualatin, Oregon. There, it started co-packing soy milk and tofu. Within the span of 10 years, the company added broths, soups, meals, and sides to its production. It has made use of timeless recipes and stays true to them many years later.

The timeless recipes mean Pacific Foods also makes its soups, broths, and other products the same way regular folk would in their homes. The company also uses non-GMO ingredients. This not only makes Pacific Food’s recipes more hearty and satisfying than the rest, but they’re also healthier.

Pacific Foods has a great selection of good, healthy, delicious products. You can see them all below.

The Old School Way

Since opening its doors, Pacific Foods has chosen to do things differently than its competitors. Most other corporations value efficiency and money-saving alternatives, and these methods in making food always end up making the products less healthy. These products typically contain artificial preservatives and additives. We don’t want that!

If you can’t say it, don’t eat it.”

Pacific Foods believes in transparency because it has nothing to hide. Every label indicates exactly what each product contains. Rest assured, you won’t find any GMOs on products that bear the name Pacific Foods. Each ingredient tastes just like Mother Nature intended. Because of that, the products taste “real”. The Non-GMO Project has verified 33 products belonging to Pacific Foods.

The Old-Fashioned Way

To reiterate how Pacific Foods makes its products, we have to understand its ingredients. The company has said that it “...always believed that nature’s work needs little refinement.” Because of this, it only uses a few simple ingredients to make food just like you would at home. It skips those unhealthy preservatives and additives. All you have in each Pacific Foods product is nourishment at its best.

The Source of Goodness

To ensure the quality of its products, Pacific Foods verifies each ingredient’s source. It utilizes its own Certified to The Source (CTS) program to check the quality of the ingredients. All of their ingredients - about 2,000 in total - have been checked by Pacific Foods themselves and certified to the source!

Pacific Foods purchases over 45 million pounds of Certified Organic ingredients annually - over 80% of their total ingredients are Certified Organic.

What’s In the Box?

We’ve been going over the recipes, the ingredients, and the source. How about we go over the goods? PlantX is home to Pacific Foods soups, broths, and beverages. Get to know a little bit more about each below!

Soups are such a versatile food. Have them as a side or make it the star of the show. Soups give us feelings of comfort as well as good, natural nourishment.

If you’re looking for a gluten-free, soy-free, and organic soup, why not try the Low-Sodium Butternut Squash Soup? How about a herby, vegetable-filled soup? Then go for the Vegetable Quinoa Soup. If you’re feeling a little bit more adventurous, try out this flavor combination of Cashew Carrot Ginger Soup. How about a certified classic? A bistro favorite? Look no further because you can get the Tomato Basil Soup. Have it straight out the box or add some more of your preferred ingredients, all of them will surely hit the spot. You can’t go wrong!

Who would’ve known that simple ingredients would make such a rich broth? Pacific Foods knows that. Its broths and stocks are gently simmered for hours, and they taste like it! The simmering brings a more complex and rich flavor to the broth. Some of our favorites are the Mushroom Broth and the Vegetable Broth. They are great to have in your pantry. They can enhance dishes, soups, and sauces.

Pacific Foods may have perfected dairy-free milk. I mean, they have been making plant-based beverages for about 30 years. You can use Pacific Foods milk for pretty much anything - from putting in your coffee and tea to cooking and even having a glass of refreshing dairy-free milk.

There are multiple options to choose from. You, unlike the milk, are spoilt for choice. Pacific Foods has Oat, Hazelnut, Cashew, Almond milk… and many more! Check them out below.
