Vegan Rice Crispy Treats (Gluten-Free)
2 cups rice crispy cereal
1/2 cup peanut butter (you can also sub for almond or cashew butter!)
1/2 cup maple syrup (You can also sub for agave nectar or brown rice syrup
Dark Chocolate Chips
Line an 8 x 8-inch baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
Place your rice crispy cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Melt your but butter together with your syrup either over the stovetop or in the microwave. Pour the mixture into the bowl together with your rice crispy cereal and mix well.
Pour the mixture onto your lined baking tray and press firmly into place. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Enjoy!
