How should I dispose of the Natracare Organic Tampons?

As we mentioned these tampons are made from 100% organic cotton, which means they are 100% compostable. This is great news for the environment. If you are able to compost them at home, it may feel a little strange at first, but it couldn’t be simpler! All you need to do is add your used tampons to your compost pile. They should take 5-6 months to decompose, depending on the moisture levels in your compost bin. Once your tampons have decomposed, feel free to use the compost on your garden- you will find it rich in sodium, iron, and calcium - all great nutrients to help plants thrive!
