Founded in 2013, over the past few years Forager Project’s co-founders Stephen Williamson and JC Hanley have been working hard to fulfill their goal - and they have been doing a fantastic job!

Made from their own recipe for Cashew Milk Yoghurt, the Forager Project team has put all their effort in to concoct the perfect organic recipe for great-tasting vegan cheese.

Why are the Forager Project Shredded Vegan Cheeses made from cashews?
The Forager Project team searched long and hard for the perfect ingredient to make great-tasting, high-quality, plant-based cheese that could be produced via sustainable and organic methods. They found the answer: Vietnamese cashews. Produced on the Ivory Coast, these particular cashews don’t need irrigated water to flourish - perfect for the Forager Project’s sustainable focus. Working closely with a small group of expert local farmers, the Forager Project team works together to produce the best organically-grown cashews possible.
