Product Overview

Eden Foods Dark Red Kidney Beans are grown in the USA and sourced from trusted farmers.

As well as their rich taste, these Red Kidney Beans are also rich in anthocyanin antioxidants, protein, B vitamins, iron, zinc, and fiber.

They have creamy flesh and a mild flavor. Because of their thick skin, these vegan beans are great for soup as they hold their shape. They are also perfect in stews, chili, dips, and salads.

Eden Foods Dark Red Kidney Beans are packaged in environmentally friendly packaging. Store in a cool, dry place.

Cooking Instructions

To prepare, simply wash and soak the beans so they’re fully covered with water. Soak for 6-8 hours or overnight. Drain and put in a pot with water so the beans are covered. Boil the water and turn off the heat. Cover and leave for an hour and a half.

After removing the water, cook in a pot and add 3 cups of water to every cup of soaked beans. Boil, reduce the heat, and cover. Leave on the stove until the beans are tender. Half a cup of dry beans is about 5 and a half cups of cooked beans.

Ingredients

Organic dark red kidney beans phaseolus Vulgaris
