Great snack

What a great snack! Jerky texture but mushroom based.

Would like it a little plainer

it has ingredients I normally don't like - like chili pepper and garlic. That said, Eat the Change is the best tasting brand of jerky. I like them all - even when they have chili peppers.

Has its moments of shine

When there's maple mustard, hickory smokehouse, and sesame teriyaki, this one falls wayside - not my favorite of the bunch. It's a little spicy hot too - which you don't expect with the chili spice. I think this one would do better with better marketing. Still - for summer, with the beach breeze and waves - this is a winner. During the winter, when the least you want to think about is food - being cold outside and hibernating - this is a distraction free food. When you're traveling and want to relax - but still like a little spiciness to keep you awake - that's what this is for.
