Great ambiance, great service, great food! Celebrating a birthday, everything was delicious, I had the Shrimp a la Crema and really enjoyed it. Have visited in the past for happy hour and tapas and have always had a great experience, would definitely recommend.
Excllent food and service!
I tried calling Malo 3 times to make a reservation for Saturday and got hung up on all 3 times. They even said hello, and then hung up when I responded. Terrible service if you ask me. I’ve never been to the restaurant, but it wasn’t a great first impression. I made a reservation at Django instead. They answered my call on the first ring. I don’t normally make google reviews, but I’ve worked in the customer service industry for over 10 yrs and I would’ve never hung up on a customer. Go to Django! 👏🏼
The food here was actually really good. I highly recommend the tatchos as a starter. So many yummy flavors. The tortillas seem hand made and are thick and delish. They don't fall apart in your hands. Only giving four stars due to the ambiance. Lacking in character and not a place for the COVID conscious people. We were seated in the middle of a large room with tables of people all around us on NYE. Maybe that isn't always the case. I hate saying this but it felt like a cafeteria. I recommend ordering take out of you can. Worth a try.
Got the Eggs Benedict. It was supposed to have green chili hollandaise sauce however I feel like that was forgotten. Tasted like a can of cream of mushroom soup dumped on my food. 2 sunny side up eggs, 1 half a piece of pork belly per egg and bread. 15.99. It tasted like a $4 meal to me. First and last trip because not worth the hype.
