Crunchy Salad Wraps

Servings: 4 Time: 10 minutes

Looking for something more filling than a salad but still want to stay on the healthy side? Here is the perfect recipe for a salad wrap with a little extra crunch. 

Ingredients

  • 4 whole grain wraps
  • 4 tbsp of hummus
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 head of Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ of a red onion
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 handful of fresh Basil
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 2 handfuls of nacho chips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • black pepper, salt & Italian herbs to taste

Method

  • Place wrap on plate and add hummus as the base (around 1 tbsp).
  • Pile on the chopped veggies and nacho chips.
  • Use olive oil, lime juice, Italian herbs, salt and pepper for seasoning. Repeat for the 3 remaining wraps and enjoy!
