ABOUT PHILODENDRON CORDATUM HEARTLEAF
The Philodendron Cordatum Heartleaf is a member of the iconic Philodendron family, and shares many of the same characteristics. This plant has attractive glossy leaves that grow into a cute heart shape, and its vines quickly grow and are eager to climb or hang.
This plant is available in a variety of sizes to fit your needs:
The 4” pot has a combined height of 12”. Product Size : 15 Oz
The 6” pot has a combined height of 22”. Product Size : 32 Oz
Heartleaf likes moderate to bright light, and will tolerate dry air but prefers humidity. Place your Heartleaf on a tall bookshelf to let it trail or gently tie the stems to a pole in the middle of the pot to encourage climbing.
Overwatering can cause root rot and yellowing leaves, and dry air can cause brown leaf tips. Fungus gnats may be attracted to the moist soil.
Philodendron in general are fantastic air filtering plants, and are known to filter benzene, xylene, and formaldehyde.
LOOKING AFTER THE PLANT
Heartleaf is just as simple to care for as any Philodendron. Only water when the soil feels dry to the touch, and spritz the leaves with water to increase humidity a couple of times a week.
PLANT CARE WITH PETS AND CHILDREN
Philodendron Cordatum Heartleaf is toxic to dogs, cats, and humans. Keep it out of reach, such as on a tall bookshelf (where it looks best!)
