LOOKING AFTER THE PLANT
A moderately fast-growing plant, it does well in a well-draining soil mix and can tolerate lower light conditions but prefers bright, indirect light to thrive best. Water often but not too much, only to keep the soil damp at all times but never allowing the plant to sit in very wet soil. Use rainwater for watering or let water sit in a jar for days before using it to water. The plant can tolerate as low as 15°C of temperatures though it’s best to give it reasonable ventilation and keep it within 18-23°C or warm to high temperatures. Maintain high humidity by using a pebble tray or regular misting. Fertilize once or twice a month during the growing season using a mild dose of nitrogen-rich fertilizer. Propagate this variety through root division.
