How To Make Healthy Baked Cauliflower Wings

The essence of these faux wings is, of course, the batter! To mimic the crispy outside of traditional chicken wings, we’re going to serve you up the best batter recipe for seasoning, coating, and making the perfect cauliflower wings for coating in your fav sauces. Here’s what you’ll need for your batter:

  • ¼ cup of almond meal
  • ½ cup of breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp almond milk
  • Preferred vegetable oil for tossing your cauliflower
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1tsp paprika
  • 1tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions:

First, preheat your oven to 425 F and get a large baking sheet ready by lining it with parchment paper. Spray or lightly coat your florets with your preferred vegetable oil. In a large bowl, mix together your dry ingredients and begin tossing your cauliflower. Add in your almond milk and toss to coat the cauliflower more. Arrange your florets on the baking sheet and place it on the center rack for 25 minutes. Get your fave sauce ready in the meantime and dip your cauliflower in it when ready. Bake your florets for another 15 minutes once they’re saucy, but keep a watchful eye to make sure they don’t burn. You can also set your oven to broil for another 5 minutes if you like them extra crispy. Serve with your favorite dips and enjoy!
