According to her celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak, Ariana’s meal plan resembles a macrobiotic Japanese diet. It was in 2013 she made the announcement that she is ditching all meat products and was going 100% vegan. In her tweet, she said that she had always kept meat minimal in her meals since childhood and is marking her first day as a vegan.
In an interview, she revealed that she has adopted the lifestyle change for her own health as well as the welfare of animals. She told The Mirror that she loves animals more than she loves most people and she wasn’t kidding at all. She firmly believes that following a whole food, plant based diet can make us happier and live longer.
